There will be an active application process for funding and grants, but as a new initiative Art/Heritage Symposium is unable to secure any financial support for the artists before closer to the date.
May 2019 Residency Coordinator Outi Valanto meets representatives of Dutchcultures|TransArtists platform for possible collaboration and support to apply funding of Creative Europa.
Other planned funding sources are TAIKE/Arts Promotion Centre of Finland, Kulturkontakt Nord (Nordic Culture Point) and National Culture Fund of Hungary.
August 2019 Residency call will be announced in a new website of Art/Heritage, and the team will start reaching out to artists dealing with Heritage theme. Funding applications will be sent out according to deadlines.
January 2020 Residency call will go up in TransArtists and ResArts platforms online with a deadline of applications for May 1st. May 2020 Art/Heritage Team will meet to choose participants for the residency, decide a final programme and discuss distribution of funds. Beginning of July preparations in the location will begin. Tentative dates for the residency will be around the beginning of August.
