2013                     Liberty Leaving the People
Started as The Aftermath of the torch, Premiered in the Bonnie Bird Theatre in May 2012, Liberty Leaving the People is a duet between Lady Liberty and a housewife, dealing with marketing powers and brainwash of the 20th century. Last performed in Accidental Festival 2013.

2009                    Goodbye Estonia             
A collaboration between one dancer, musician and an archive secretary, a cultural project investigating the differences between Estonia and Finland.  Estonian Traditional Music Center, Viljandi, Estonia.

Choreography: Amanda Gough and Sonia Rafferty. Commissioned work for final year students of the BA (Hons) Dance Theatre programme at Trinity-Laban. Premier in November in Bonnie Bird theatre, on tour around London in 2012, and filmed in 3D storytelling conference in 02, London.

 

2011               Common bodies in a space of difference

Choreography: Zoi Dimitriou. Commissioned work for final year students of the BA (Hons) Dance Theatre programme at Trinity-Laban. Premier in November in Bonnie Bird theatre, on tour around London and Greece in 2012.

a revival of a Cholmondeleys & Featherstonehaughs piece of repertoire for 10 dancers. Choreography: Lea Anderson, performed at Riverside studios.

Heidi Seppälä a dancer and a choreographer born in Finland, and since lived in several countries around the world. She graduated from Laban in 2012 (BA (hons) dance theatre) as a dancer, and prior to that studied another BA in dance teaching and choreography in University of Tartu, Viljandi Culture Academy. Her background prior to dance is visual arts and photography. She has created work and performed alongside artists such as Lea Anderson, Alison Curtis-Jones, Rachel Lopez De la Nieta, Lasse Kantola, Älymystö, Zoi Dimitriou, Ship Of Fools, LCP Dance Theatre in theatres and festivals worldwide. Changing scenery, extreme experiences and pushing of boundaries all informs her artistic work.
